Dad at home with Covid and no headphones

It’s been a year since I last posted something on my blog. Almost a year ago is when I last left my office in New York City on March 13,...

About The Blog

I am a father of 3 young boys. This is a website of personal thoughts, streams of consciousness, or general observations acquired in the erratic and inconsistent free time a modern parent might have. Free time for a parent is often frantic, fleeting, passes unnoticed or just not there. You usually don’t recognize it because it’s used to keep the non-parenting aspects of your life in order.

I work full time, commuting from my family's home in New Jersey on the bus to New York City. When I’m not grasping at whatever brief respites of sleep I’m able to enjoy, or reading something, I often write down my thoughts of parenthood. This is often while wearing my headphones, listening to music I enjoy or that conjures up thoughts of what I’m writing about. This site contains what could currently best be described as the liner notes of a dad’s life in the midst of the astounding chaos. I’m just a dad on the bus with headphones.
